Futura Medtech is committed to making this electronic Instructions for Use portal accessible to all users, in line with EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Conformance status
The portal has been designed against WCAG 2.1 AA. We have completed an internal review. A third-party accessibility audit is planned. This statement will be updated once the audit is complete.
Measures we have taken
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for screen readers.
- Keyboard navigation throughout — no mouse-only interactions.
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Text contrast of 4.5:1 or better on body content.
- Responsive layout that works on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Plain-language error messages.
- Multi-language IFU support with native language names alongside English.
Known limitations
- The PDF viewer relies on PDF.js. Some screen readers may have difficulty with complex tables inside PDFs. If you need the IFU in an alternative format, contact us.
How to request an alternative format
If you cannot access an IFU because of an accessibility barrier, please contact regulatory@futuramedtech.com and we will provide the document in an alternative format (paper, large print, or another digital format) at no charge, normally within seven days.
